摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the effect of different fluoride concentration on the fatigue strength of pure titanium clasp. Methods Twenty casting clasp specimens of pure titanium made from prefabricated wax were divided into 4 groups,respectively [F-]=0ppm,500ppm,750ppm, 1 000ppm of artificial saliva tested. Initial loading force and loading cycle before fracture were registered automatically,and fracture flaws were examined with SEM. Results The initial loading forces of Pure Titanium were not significant difference among 4 test conditions (P>0 05),while the number of cycles and the fatigue strength significant; The tested clasps had the highest loading cycles in artificial saliva without fluoride, with the fluoride concentration increase in the number of loading cycles decreased. Fatigue strength analysis showed a significant difference among 4 groups (P<0.01). Conclusion The results suggest that the fluoride concentration increases with pure titanium clasp to decrease fatigue strength.关键词
