摘要

Abstract

L-phenylalanine (L-Phe) is an in portant kind of essential am ino acids . It is widely used in the fields of food ,feed additives and pharm aceutics . L-Phe can be obtained by chemical , enzym atic orm icrob ialprocesses . L-Phe production viamicmbial ferm entation is more promising due to its low cost of raw matenal , less environm ental pollution and high purity of product. In this review , Escherichia coliasamain example , the L-Phe biosynthesis pathway and the regulation of key enzymes , strategies of metabolic regulation for enhanced L-Phe biosynthesis , and the key techniques and strategies applied inferm entative production of L-Phe were analyzed and sum marized respectively . Based on the understanding of the currennt challenges , the prospects of L-Phe production by microbial ferm entation were proposed
