The unusual structure of excited state in stable nuclei

摘要

Abstract

In the framework of relativistic mean field theory, the shell model-like approach(SLAP) was used to treat the pairing correlations for the nuclei 17N and 18O. The properties of ground state and excited state were described. The root mean square radius in nuclear ground state and excited states and the neutron and proton density distributions were obtained. The results showed that the radius of the nuclear excited state was larger than that of the ground state, and neutron density holding a larger space distribution, forming a peculiar class of halo or skin structure.
