Mechanism Research on Concentrated Leakage Passage Formed by Water Flow Erosion in Weak Structure Plane

Abstract
Weak structure plane is typically with high plasticity and low intensity, which provides possibility of bedrock deformation, causing concentrated leakage passage and eventually leading to seepage failure under the long-term effect of groundwater. The seepage stability of weak structure plane is one of the most important engineering and hydrogeological research topics. At present, there are still many unsolved problems about mechanism of the seepage failure. The research on concentrated leakage passage formed in weak structure is inadequate. Seepage deformation in weak structure plane was studied in this paper, focusing on developmental mechanism of leakage channels caused by water flow erosion and critical velocity of dust particles corresponding to their different starting locations and relative fissure width. A case was studied to indicate that the concentrated leakage passage can be formed in bedrock weak structure plane under proper geological conditions.关键词
