Effect of Homocysteine on The Expression of Endothelial Antioxidative Enzymes in Vein
摘要
Abstract
To study the effects of homocysteine ( Hcy) at different concentrations on the expression of antioxidative enzymes in cultured HUEVC and in aorta of mice with hyperhomocysteinemia.Methods: The expression of tested genes was detected by realtime RT - PCR.The levels of ROS in cells were measured by using DCF - DA as a iluorescence probe ; Research material for the HUEVC and the aorta of mice with hyperhomocysteinemia.Results : Homocysteine promoted the levels of ROS and down - regulated the expression of catalase and glutathione peroxidase in HUEVC.The expression of glutathione peroxidase, catalase, and Mn - SOD decreased in aorta of mice with hyperhomocysteinemia.Conclusion : Hcy could significantly urge the generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species and promote oxidative injiury.At the same time Hcy could notablely inhibit the activeties of antioxidative enzymes( GSHPx.Catalase and Mn - SOD).关键词
