Abstract
On the basis of PMU branch measurement, the electrical relationship among branch parameters, branch power and the voltage on two nodes of the branch is used to establish a new voltage stability index of LPQIby rational deduction. The LPQI ranges from 0 to 1, after calculation, the transmission line with maximum LPQI is considered as the weakest line and used to assess the voltage stability of the present system. The simulation values of IEEE 9-bus system and IEEE 30-bus system show the validity and accuracy on assessment of weakest line and determination of the distance between the current state and critical state, and the obtaining of the index of LPQI considers the influence of branch earth capacitance on the assessment of static voltage stability, and it needs only a simple calculation.关键词
