摘要

Abstract

Two different control modes of DFIG wind farm are introduced and dynamic characteristics under each control are studied in PSS/E. The results show that wind farm can generate more reactive power during voltage control mode, while it has better dynamic response under power factor control mode. Thus, control and dispatching should be processed reasonably on the basis of wind farm's operation state and the grid operation conditions. In addition, STATCOM has been applied to wind farm, and the simulation result indicates that it can improve voltage stability and fault ride through ability of the wind farm.
