摘要

Abstract

[ Objective ] The basic data and reference for the management of the diet of the costal residents in Hainan Province were provided based on the reasonable evaluation of the health risk of the arsenic (As) taken from deep-sea fish through the measurement of the content of As in 10 species of common deep-sea fishes. [ Method ] The sample of deep-sea fish was digested with the mixture( nitric acid + hydrogen peroxide ) and the content of As in the sample was tested with the method of hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry. The health risk of the deep-sea fish to people was assessed with the target hazard quotient(THQ). [ Results] The content of As in 10 species of common deepsea fishes was in the range from 0.018 5 -0.091 2 mg/kg, less than the limited value(0. 1 mg/kg) the Standard of the Pollutant in Food (GB2762-2005). The evaluation result indicated that the THQ of hairtail, white pomfret, red coat, pipefish, yellow tail fish and catfish,which was normal sea food in Hainan Province, was more than 1 with the health risk and the THQ of the yellow croaker, grouper and sea manini was near 1 with potential health risk. [Conclusion] In daily life, the reasonable consumption of different sea foods, avoiding the sea flsh with the the THQ > 1, could reduce the health risk.
