Abstract
The engineering geological problems of dam foundation caused by the pseudo-karst effect from the red bed containing saline deposit in Sichuan Basin are discussed herein, i.e. the change of the chemical composition and its erosion effect on the concrete of the hydraulic structures as well as the seepage of dam foundation; and then the pseudo-karst intensity factor (k) featuring the intensity of the pseudo-karst effect is determined. Finally, the pseudo-karst effect on the weakening of the dam foundation rock body is discussed based on the regression relation in between the pseudo-karst rock body Vp and the main engineering mechanical indexes, such as allowable bearing capacityfak, shear friction coefficientf (f'), deformation module (E0), etc.关键词
