摘要

Abstract

An identification on heat resistance of 23 eggplant varieties was conducted in summer-autumn field conditionin. Yields showed a greater difference for all the tested varieties at high temperature. Almost all vaheties showed a more serious suberization of fruit skin. Eggplant Hainanzhengtou, Zihonghchang, Zisushan and Yinongchangsheng had gained higher output and fairly good quality than others under high temperature. In different varieties, production level and the ratio of different flower style was not relevant. For the same variety,flower pollen viability of different flower style was also quite different. It was found that, compared to the middlestyle and short-style flowers, the long-style flowers had higher pollen viability in more than 80% of the varieties in the experiment. Water metabolism and photosynthesis in the preliminary study showed that strong heat-resistant varieties had a higher proportion of bound water and strong photosynthetic capacity.
