Abstract
the present paper The existing international reserve currency system must undergo a great reform with the introdution of new international currencies.Based on a review of previous research, this paper analysis the necessity and foundation of RMB internationalization, pointing out that the internalization is in accordance with China's longterm benefit ,and discuss the lessons and experience from the internationalization of Japanese Yen and German Mark in detail, claiming that Yen's internationalization has turned from a functional strategy to a strategy aimed at Asian regionalization.Furthermore, the present paper suggests the strategy for RMB to get internationalized, which is to maintain monetary sovereignty of Chinese RMB while following a way featured by helix structures in both regionalization and function, and to gradually loosing the limitation upon RMB's free exchange.Besides, the present paper shows the approach of realizing RMB's internationalization by making it a leading role in Asian Monetary Union.Finally, the article discusses the possible difficulties in this process of RMB's internationalization and immediate measures that must be taken, pointing out the necessity of a smooth channel for RMB abroad to return to China, the stability of RMB's credit and value, and the financial infrastructure construction.关键词
