摘要

Abstract

PIV measurements were conducted in a swirling stabilized flame with CH4 and midcalorific syngas as fuel respectively. Effects of different fuels on velocity distribution were studied. With the existence of H2, syngas flame exhibits slightly more opening angle at fuel exit, wider recirculation zone, and stronger recirculation intensity when compared to CH4 flame. The turbulence intensity of syngas flame is lager at relatively low fuel rate, while velocity fluctuation of CH4 flame is higher at high fuel rate.
