摘要

Abstract

KS6/S composite was prepared by thermally treating a mixture of elemental sulfur and carbon material KS6 at 150 ℃. The sulfur/carbon composite was cnaractenzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) tests. The electrochemical performance of the composite as cathode material was evaluated by the galvanostatic method and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The sulfur/carbon compcsites exhibit high reversible capacity and good cycle performance. It is found that KS6/S composite can deliver a very high capacity of 1290 mAh/g at the first discharge and remain a cycling capacity of 1030 mAh/g after 100 cycles.
