AN APPROACH FOR WORD SENSE DISAMBIGUATION BASED ON PAGERANK ALGORITHM AND HOW-NET
摘要
Abstract
This paper briefly introduces the core of PageRank algorithm, describes the role of How-Net knowledge in word sense disambiguation, and proposes the method of combining both of them for the word sense disambiguation. In the paper, the advantages and disadvantages between traditional statistical disambiguation method and PageRank algorithm are compared;emphasis is put on explaining how to apply the algorithm to semantic networks. Also, the method of drawing composition using primitive meaning concept and links of How-Net is introduced; the idea of algorithm implementation is expounded; and at last the approach for word sense disambiguation based on this algorithm and How-Net is summarised briefly with a practical instance, and a few testing data is presented as well. The difficulties existing in the study and the research priorities in the next step are brought forth either.关键词
