Abstract
The paper first analyzes the abnormal action of some automatic tracking and compensation arc suppression coil(ASC) in the field and then points out that the reason causing the abnormal action is that the criterion the ASC used to judge the disappearance of the single phase to ground fault (SPGF) is too simple.By doing simulations and analyzing the zero-sequence voltage of neutral point to ground via ASC system after the disappearance of SPGF, the author puts forward a criterion based on the abrupt-changed zero-sequence voltage.The proposed criterion can be used not only for the pre-setting ASC but also the post-setting ASC.Using the ameliorated criterion to realize the appropriate control of the damping resistor of the pre-setting ASC, the abnormal action of the ASC is solved.The results of field operation and the simulation prove the validity of the new control method.关键词
