摘要

Abstract

For the requirement of traction substation upgrading reformation, a new differential protection scheme for V/V connection traction transformer is introduced. In order to improve the utilization ratio of transformer, V/V connection transformer is often used in traction substation upgrading reformation. Because of the limitation of early phase microprocessor-based relay, the existing protection scheme cannot satisfy the reliability of differential protection for V/V connection transformer. The misoperation condition of existing protection scheme is discussed, and then a new differential protection scheme for V/V connection transformer is introduced to meet the needs of the existing microprocessor-based relay. The simulation results prove the correctness of the introduced scheme in this paper.
