摘要

Abstract

In the long distance distributed optic-fiber sensing system, the polarization state of output light tends to drift, which influences the sensing system interference effect. Aiming at the typical Mach-Zehnder distributed optic-fiber leak detection system, analyzes theoretically the influence of polarization degradation on the system performance, elaborates the technologies using the PDR and FRM to control the polarization state. Simulation results indicate these two technologies can achieve good effect of polarization control.
