摘要

Abstract

The main chanel of the Mid-route of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project crosses Honghe River in Anyang of Henan Province with a crossing works of inverted siphon, where a rapid flow from Wuliu Canal laterally rushed in.The problem of flow discontinuity in the water jumping area of the stilling pool section of Wuliu Canal with a lateral inflow is discussed herein, and then a simplified mode of numerical simulation on the water jumping area within an open channel is put forward.Through establishing a 2-D mathematical model, the river section with the crossing works of Honghe River is numerically simulated and the characteristic of the flood in river section is specially studied as well.The simulation shows that this simplified method is feasible and reliable; which can not only reflect the relation between the conjugate water depth and the energy loss, but can also solve the problem from the simulation on the inflowed lateral torrential flow from Wuliu Chanel therein.
