Novel routing protocol for wireless Mesh networks based on channel traffic interference awareness
摘要
Abstract
In order to capture the traffic interference, improve the network capacity and the real-time property, this paper proposed a novel routing metric based on channel traffic interference awareness for multi-interface WMN.The new metric not only captured the load interference within two hops but also integrated transmission delay, packet loss ratio and transmission rate.Then, presented a novel routing protocol, which utilized the new metric to select the routing paths.The simulation results show that the new protocol has better performances in terms of the average throughput, end-to-end delay and packet deliver ratio, as compared with both AODV protocol and AODV-WCETT protocol.关键词
