Abstract
Objective To explore the role of clinical care pathway in patients with uterine fibroids in the perioperative nursing.Methods Fifty patients with uterine fibroids were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, each having 25 patients.Patients in control group were hospitalized with routine nursing care plans, while the patients in observation group were admitted to hospital with the clinical care pathway.All patients were observed in terms of the first time out of bed, the first exhaust time, incision suture removal time, hospital stay, hospital costs and their families' satisfaction rate.Results In the observation group, the first time out of bed and the first exhaust time were much less than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The duration of hospital stay was less than control group, and the difference was significant as well ( P ＜ 0.05).And the satisfaction rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The clinical care pathway was beneficial to the recovery of perioperative patients with uterine fibroids, and it can reduce hospital stay, lower hospital costs, and increase satisfaction of patients and their families.关键词
