摘要

Abstract

Based on the relevant model test, the characteristics of hydrodynamic load under the effect of X-shaped flaring gate pier in short stilling basin is analyzed herein; in which the analysis on the influence from the height of the bottom opening on the surface of the spillway and the stilling basin is made, and then the bottom opening of the flaring gate pier is also optimized. The result shows that the height of 1.5 m for the bottom opening is the best scheme. The study result has a certain reference value to the engineering design concerned.
