Abstract
Objective Retrospective comparison and analysis the effects of ganciclovir and acyclovir in treatment for patients with herpes simplex keratitis in our hospital. Methods One hundred patients with herpes simplex keratitis were analyzed retrospectively in recent years. Fourty -eight cases were treated by ganciclovir ophthalmic gel, whereas 37 cases were treated by acyclovir eye drops. The effects of two kinds of drugs was compared. Results The total rate of effectiveness in ganciclovir group was 91.7％. The rate in ganciclovir group was 75. 7％. The efficiency rate of ganciclovir ophthalmic gel is higher than acyclovir eye drops (P ＜0. 05). Conclusion Herpes simplex keratitis is one of the eye diseases which can grow blind. Ganciclovir ophthalmic gel is much better on effects than acyclovir eye drops.关键词
