Rapidly Analyzing Composition of Polyesters by NMR

Abstract
Nineteen polyester compounds were synthesized, and utilized to study the 1 H and 13C NMR chemical shift characteristics of polyacid units and polyol units in polyesters. We found that the type of polyol unit connecting to the polyacid unit does not have much influence on the 1 H and 13C NMR chemical shift of the polyacid unit, and vice versa. On the basis of the experimental results, we established a chemical shift database for polyester units. With the aid of this database, the composition of unknown polyester can be determined quickly.关键词
