摘要

Abstract

Aiming to the shortage of existing fault monitoring system of HVDC electrode lines, and introducing the operation principle on traveling wave based fault location system of the lines, this paper analyzes the main technologies for the system such as ultra-high-speed data acquisition, power supply and data communication etc., and provides a feasible desgin of the system. The realized fault location system based on traveling wave can monitor all kinds of failures of electrode lines continuously and provide their accurate location.
