Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of using soft hair brush, oral toning lotion and conventional nursing methods on oral nursing of patients with ICU intubation. Methods Sixty patients with ICU intubationwere randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 in each group. The patients in the observation group were applied with soft hair brush and oral toning lotion. While the control group employed the conventional nursing methods for special patients. Routine morning oral check was conducted in terms of mouth smell, food remains, grime of canker sores and oral fungal infection. The results of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the mouth smell, food remains, grime of canker sores and incidence of oral fungal infection rates of the observation group were markedly reduced ( P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The clinical effects of the observation group are much better than the conventional ones and the method has certain clinical significance.关键词
