Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effects of transmission straight wire appliance on the treatment of Angle Ⅱ1 malocclusion. Methods: Thirteen Angle Ⅱ 1 malocclusion patients were treated with the appliance. The results of cephalometric measurements before and after treatment were statistically analyzed. Results: The avcrage treatment time of 13 cases was 15.6 months. The overbite's treatment cost 4.2 months averagely. Over bile, overjet and molar relationship were turned to normal and lateral appearances were improved after treatment. The results of cephalometric analysis showed that the changes of U1-SN and L1- MP angle, overbite ,and overjet were of high statistical significance(P＜0.01)excep t for SNA,MP - SN、SNB、ANB、U1 -L1 angle( p＞0 .05) Conclusion: Transmission straight wire appliance can quickly and efficiently correct Angle Ⅱ1 malocclusion.关键词
