Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy and adverse events of pemetrexed monotherapy in the treatment of elderly patients with lung adenocarcinoma as the first - line regimen. Methods Seventeen elderly lung adenocarcinoma patients were treated with pemetrexed through intravenous drip on the first day(500 rog/m2), which repeated every 3 weeks. Then evaluate after at least 2 cycles. Results The clinical benefit rate was 82.4 ％. Complete response was not achieved in all cases, There were partial response 7 roses, stable 7 cases, progress 3 cases. The disease contro[ rate was 41.2％. The median time to progress was 4.4 months. The main toxic reactions was myelosuppression. Conclusion As the first- line regimen for the treatment of elderly patients with lung adenoearcinoma, pemetrexed monotherapy was effective and well tolerated.关键词
