Abstract

Objective: The objective was to research the resilience and personality, emotion regulation and affective perception of neutral faces in college students.Methods: Resilience Scale for Adults (RSA), Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC), Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ) were applied in this survey to 154 college students, and the high resilience group and low resilience group were tested for affective perception of neutral faces task.Results: ①Compared with the lower resilience group, the high resilience group scored significantly higher in vent regulator (t=5.966, P=0.000) and extraversion (t=3.903, P=0.000), while lower in neuroticism (t=-3.036, P=0.000); ②Resilience have obvious positive correlation with the vent regulator and extraversion, and negative correlation with the neuroticism; ③Compared with the lower resilience group, the high resilience group more often judged neutral faces to be happy in S-H task(t=2.601,P=0.012) and H-F task(t=2.003,P=0.05), but no significant differences in F-S task (t=-1.259, P=0.217).Conclusion: College students' resilience have obvious correlation with vent regulator, extraversion and neuroticism; the high resilience individuals may better cognitive and cope with certain difficult situations.
