摘要

Abstract

The main channel of The South-to-North Water Diversion Project intersects with a few rivers in Hebei province; the important cross-drainage structures include channels of inverted siphon where the main channel intersects with the Hutuo Riv er, the Tang River, the Shahe River. The river course will be narrowed when the construction is completed, so streaming poten tial of water will change dramatically. Therefore, to build diversion dike can lead water flow and lighten affects on the river course. To starts with flat shape of diversion dike and calculation method and based on the proposal of layout principles of diver sion dike, river model tests and optimizing experiments for three main rivers including shape of diversion dike, local scour, up stream backwater from diversion dike in cross section and downstream erosion have been conducted with the result to get rea sonable models and sizes of diversion dike.
