Abstract
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the south bank's tunnel boring machine (TBM) arrival of the Yellow River crossing works for the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, the receive shaft on the south bank has been reirfforced and grouted based on the analyses of geotechnical properties, hydrogeological conditions and TBM construction. The measurements include installing tunnel portal seal at reaching side, reducing groundwater table through dewatering well around the works and adjusting control of related parameters before TBM arrival. The implementation of these measures can solve series problems such as environmental risks, engineering difficulties and complex geological conditions, and thus has a good practical effect on promoting smooth arrival of TBM. This technology provides a successful reference for the relative works.关键词
