Abstract
Aim: To detect the serum levels of blood-lipid, lipoprotein, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and carbohydrate antigen(CA199) of gastric carcinoma patients. M6thodS:A total of 158 cases of gastric cancer, including 62 cases treated only by chemotherapy directly(38 metastasis cases and 24 no metastasis cases) and 96 cases treated operation and adjuvant chemotherapy (15 cases in pathologic stage I , 25 cases in stage II , 33 cases in stage M , 23 cases in stage IV ) , were to detect the serum levels of TG, TC, HDL, LDL, CEA,and CA199. 100 normal casesand 80 cases of benign disease ( gastritis and gastric ulcer) were the controls. Results: The levels of TG, CEA, CA199 in gastric cancer group were higher than those in the other two groups (P<0.05), while the levels of TC, HDL, LDLwere lower (P<0. 05). The levels of TC, LDL of gastric cancer group after operation were higher than those before operation (t = 20. 315 ,24. 557 , P < 0.001) . Differences in the levels of TC ,HDL,LDL,CEA,CA199 among different pathologic stages were significant in gastric cancer group ( P < 0. 05). The levels of the indexes mentioned above were not related with the therapy ( P > 0. 05 ) . Conclusion: Blood-lipid and lipoprotein could be helpful for the diagnosis and adjudging the stages of clinical pathology of gastric cancer.关键词
