Abstract
t3ecause of the construction of large water storage projects in the upstream of the Luan River, water consumption for industry and agriculture substantially increases, causing a significant reduction of river water into the sea and bringing some negative impact on the biodiversity of the sea wetland. The decrease of fresh water into the sea causes shrinkage of estuary transition zone and decrease of salt and fresh water surface accordingly. Through the analysis to water into the sea from the Luan River from 1956 to 2000,it is found that a significant reduction of water after 1980s makes the salt and fresh water area decrease nearly 3 times, resulting in a reduction in the suitable growth area for plants and animals and impact on estuarine biodiversity. This paper discusses and analyzes the wetland ecological environment and provides a technical basis for protecting and restoring wetland environment and biodiversity of the Luanhe River esturay.关键词
