Microstructure and Properties of Ni-Cr Coating Prepared by Electrospark Deposition on 718 Steel
摘要
Abstract
The Ni-Cr alloy coating was produced on the surface of 718 steel plate with self-made electrode by electro-spark deposition (ESD) technique, and the microstructure, microhardness and properties of the coating were investigated. The results show that the fine dendritic structure prevails in the bottom of the coating and ultra-fine grains in the middle and upper coating. The EDX analysis shows the Fe, Ni and Cr elements of interface changes suddenly; The hardness of the coating shows gradient distribution from the surface to the substrate, the largesl reaches 89.3HV0. 1. The wear resistance of the ESD coating is much higher than the substrate. Superfine particles in the coating are the main factors leading to high hardness as well as wear resistance of the coating.关键词
