摘要

Abstract

Role of ammonium sulfate in trivalent chromium plating system was studied . By the bright range of Hull—cell tests, deposition rate, polarization curves, cyclic voltammetry, effects of ammonium salt on trivalent chromium reduction characteristics were researched. And the anticorrosion of chrome coatings obtained from baths containing different contant anmonium salts were compared by Tafel curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and copper accelerated salt spray (CASS) tests. The results show that ammonium ion in the bath not only plays the role of conductivity but also plays the role of coordination. Polarizability in bath with ammonium is greater and the deposition rate is slower than that without. Anticorrosion of coatings from bath with ammonium is higher.
