Abstract
The wind power generation controlling the frequency of power system is the required function for the synchronization of large- scale wind power. This paper investigates the variable-speed constant-frequency doubly-fed induction generators(DFIGS) to control the frequency of power system, and then analyzes the added frequency control segment in the system. By comparing an mature control strategy with an improved control strategy, a better control strategy was developed according to the characteristics of these two separate strategies, which is used to fully utilize the ability of variable-speed DFIGS to participate in system frequency control. The simulation results of the system demonstrates the correctness and availability of the improved control strategy in this paper.关键词
