Abstract
Objective:To analyze the correlation between metabolic factors and diabetic large fiber neuropathy. Methods: We divided 182 diabetic mellitus type Ⅱ patients according to the results of nerve conduction velocity into two groups, with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (66 patients) and without diabetic peripheral neuropathy (116 patients). We recorded their gender, age, duration of diabetic mellitus, body weight, height, blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, 2h postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, triglyride and high density lipoprotein etc respectively. Results: we found the age(P = 0.014) ,diabetic mellitus duration(P = 0.001 ), with hypertension(P = 0.003) and abnormal body mass index (BMI) (P = 0.033), 2h postprandial blood glucose(P = 0.046), glycosylated hemoglobin(P = 0.008) are related to the morbidity of diabetic large fiber neuropathy.Among these factors, the age, duration of diabetic mellitus, systolic blood pressure, glycosylated hemoglobin are negatively correlated with the sural nerve sensory amplitude. In the logistic regression analysis, we found age, with hypertension and high 2h postprandial blood glucose are the main factors. Conclusions:The age, duration of diabetic mellitus, blood pressure,BMI and blood glucose level are closely related to the incidence of diabetic large fiber neuropathy.关键词
