Abstract
Objective: To investigate the microsurgery technique and outcome of parasellar meningioma.Methods: The clinical data of 29 cases of parasellar meningioma were analyzed retrospectively.Results: All 29 cases received microsurgery, while total resection, subtotal resection and partial resection were performed in 21, 5 and 3 cases, respectively.The outcomes were satisfactory in all patients who survived.Conclusion: The microsurgery via the pterional and enlarged pterional approaches to parasellar meningiomas greatly increases total resection rate.Palliative operations combined with postoperative radiotherapy should be carried out for tumors that can only be subtotally and partially removed.关键词
