Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of integrative rehabilitation therapy in acute stroke patients with dysphagia. Methods: 162 patients with dysphagia caused by acute stroke were randomly divided into rehabilitation group (n=82) and control group (n=80). The patients in both of groups received conventional treatment and care. Patients in rehabilitation group were treated with swallowing function training, including basic training, feeding training, low frequency stimulation and psychological nursing. Swallowing function, clinical efficiency, incidence of complications and length of hospital stay were assessed before and 1 month after treatment. Results: After treatment for 1 month, swallowing function scores of two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment (P＜0.01), and those in rehabilitation group significantly higher than those in control group after treatment (P＜0.01). And complications rate and length of hospital stay in rehabilitation group were significantly decreased as compared with those in control group (P＜0.05,0. 01). Conclusions: The integrative rehabilitation therapy could significantly improve the swallowing function and overall recovery in acute stroke patients with dysphagia.关键词
