Abstract

Ionic liquids (ILs) are organic salts with low melting point (< 100℃), low flammability, negligible vapor pressure, high ionic conductivity and wide electrochemical window. Polymeric ionic liquids (PILs) are a class of ionic liquids that contain polymerizable groups such as double bonds. In this article, ion conductive membrane with interpenetration network (IPN) was prepared by using the polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) and PILs. The conductivity of the prepared membrane depends on the adding amount of ionic liquid, and also depends on the type of added ionic liquid. In addition, the adding amount of ionic liquids has a significant effect on the tensile strength of the prepared membrane. As the mass ratio of PILs to PVDF is 0.6, the membrane conductivity reaches 3.0× 10-3 S·cm-1, the tensile strength 17.38 N·mm-2.
