Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of posterior open-door laminoplasty for ossification of posterior longitudinal ligaments (OPLL). Method 13 OPLL cases were performed extensive open-door laminoplasty. Results The average operation duration was 150 minutes and the average blood loss was 500 ml. All cases were followed up 3 to 18 months. The improvement rate of JOA score was achieved 53.35％ averagely 15 months after the operations, and the clinical symptoms of patients improved significantly. Segmental root palsy was found in 2 cases, and no cerebrospinal fluid leakage infection or other complication occurred.Conclusion Posterior open-door laminoplasty is a good method for OPLL with satisfied effects and low complication rates.关键词
