Abstract
The Gaixiaba Hydropower Station is located in the middle reaches of Changtan River, a tributary of Yangtze River in Chongqing. The hydraulic structures consist of the concrete double-curvature arch dam, left-bank diversion tunnel and powerhouse. The maximum height and crest length of the arch dam are 160 m and 153.2 m respectively. A diversion tunnel with a total length of 7.1 km feeds water to three generating units. The ground powerhouse is away from the dam axis of about 7 km.关键词
