The prokaryotic expression and purification of rice OsMADS3 fusion protein
摘要
Abstract
The rice OsMADS3 gene encodes a MADS-box transcription factor,which plays an important role in the early floral organ-determining process.To further reveal the biological function of OsMADS3,a prokaryotic expression vector of pET32a-OsMADS3 was constructed, and the OsMADS3 full length recombinant protein with a 6xHis label was successfully expressed in Escherichia coli strain BL21 (DE3).The fused protein, mainly existing as inclusion bodies, was nearly 60％ of total cellular protein and about 48 kD in molecular weight,being in line with the expected size.关键词
