摘要

Abstract

The microwave pyrolysis of biomass wastes for direct utilization available energy is an important processing technology for waste. The microwaves power, the heating time, the moisture content and the particle size were examined for the influence on microwave pyrolysis of sawdust by using a single mode cavity. The optimized operating conditions were achieved: the microwave power is 2.0 kW, the reaction time is 10 min, the water content is 20%, the particle size is 0.5~0.8 mm.Undesired secondary reactions are therefore decreased due to higher volatile gas transfering from the core region which result in clean micropores with more open structure and larger specific areas of char than that produced by conventional heating. The liquid product is a mixture of oxygenated aliphatic and aromatic compounds, and the main compositions of the gas products are CO, CO2 and CH4.
