Abstract
Objective To discuss the treatment of complications of breast reconstruction with silica - gel implant immediately after skin - sparing modified radical mastectomy. Methods Sixty- four patients had their breast rebuilt by implanting silica - gel immediately after modified radical mastectomy from August, 2005 to August, 2010. Whether or not the nipple - areola complexes were preserved depended on the freeze pathological examinations. Results Sixty - four patients undertook single or both sides skin - sparing modified radical rnastectomy and silica - gel implantation at the same time. One case suffered capsular contraction; one case suffered flap necrosis;three cases suffered under- flap hydration; two cases suffered gel metastasis and eight cases suffered obvious asymmetry. Conclusion Mastering the indication severely and operating technically may avoid the risk of complications.关键词
