Abstract
Objective To explore the role of antidepressant therapy in H.pylori negative chronic gastritis and treatment programs.Methods One hundred and sixty patients with H.pylori negative chronic gastritis were randomly divided into combined treatment group and the conventional treatment group (control group).Conventional treatment group ( n = 80) was treated with Omeprazole capsules, while the combined treatment group (n = 80 ) was treated with Omeprazole capsules and antidepressant medication (paroxetine) for 4 weeks.The efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment were compared.Results The improved symptoms of the combined treatment group were significantly superior to the conventional treatment group.The quality of life was improved and the difference was significant.Conclusion On the basis of conventional therapy combined antidepressant treatment can better treat H.pylori negative chronic gastritis.It can improve quality of life and deserve wider clinical application.关键词
