Abstract
Objective To explore the effect and experience of early escharectomy and intermediate split - thickness skin graft in the treatment of deep bum on the dorsum of hands. Methods Thirty hands of 22 patients with deep bum on the dorsum treated in our department from September 2005 to December 2008 were retrospectively studied. The patients were treated with early escharectomy and intermediate split - thickness skin graft, and the therapeutic effects were analyzed. Results All skin grafts came to live. All 22 cases have been followed up 6～24 months. The color and elasticity of grafted pieces were satisfied. Twenty - one out of 22 cases demonstrated good recovery of hand function and shape. Conclusion For the deep bum on dorsum of hand/finger, taking the therapy of early escharectomy and intermediate split - thickness skin graft will help recover hand function to maximal extent.关键词
