摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the inhibitory effect of antimicrobial peptide s-Thanatin against Staphylococcus aureus by broth microdilution. Methods The activity of s - Thanatin against Staphylococcus aureus was evaluated by the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). Results The results demonstrated that the MIC of s- Thanatin against Staphylococcus aureus was 50 mg/L. Conclusion A higher concentration of s- thanatin is necessary to inhibit common pathogenic Staphylococcus aureus. Therefore, the chemical structure of antibacterial peptide Thanatin should be modified to improve the activity against Staphylococcus aureus.关键词
