摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the lung free radical injury induced by acute phosgene intoxication in rabbits and the protective effects of ultraviolet blood irradiation and oxygenation (UBIO). Methods Fifty healthy rabbits were randomly divided into five groups,including normal control, intoxication ,routine therapy,UBIO therapy and UBIO therapy combined routine therapy (combined therapy) group. Having been investigated continuously for 7 d,the livability of rabbits was recorded. The activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), contents of glutathione (GSH),oxided glutathione (GSSG)and malondiadehyde(MDA) in lung tissue were determined respectively. Results The activities of lung GSH in intoxication group were lower than those of control group(P<0. 01) ,but the contents of SOD, GSSG and MDA were higher than those of control group (P<0. 01). After UBIO therapy or combined therapy, the content of GSH and the activity of SOD were higher than that of intoxication group (P<0. 01), but contents of GSSG and MDA was lower than those of intoxication group(P<0.01). Conclusions Phosgene intoxication can induce lung free radical injury in rabbits, UBIO therapy had obviously protective effect, and it can be used as a treatment or an adjuvant treatment for acute phosgene intoxication.
