摘要

Abstract

The greatest advantage of the variable polarity plasma arc (VPPA)welding is that the characteristic parameters can be adjusted flexibly,such as the current frecluency,eurrent amplitude and time comparison in both the positive and negative half. For this reason,the cathode cleaning action can be realized and the keyhole welding can be achieved at the same time during the welding of aluminum alloys.Therefore,the VPPA welding has been widely utilized in the welding of aluminum structures in the aerospace industry. In this paper,the stares of control methods of the weld formation stability at home and abroad is introduced. There are three main control methods:open-loop control mode through presetting parameters,closed-loop control mode based on the real-time detection and feedback control mode based on the multi-information fusion.
