锰酸锂动力电池滥用条件下安全性能研究
Study on safety performance of LiMn2O4 power batteries under deviant use

Abstract
The power battery (347080-16 Ah) was manufactured with the commercial LiMn2O4 as cathode and graphite as anode. The heat concussion, puncture, shod circuit and overcharge performance of batteries were tested. The LiMn2O4 battery shows good safety performance and doesn't explode after heat concussion, puncture,and short circuit test. But the battery blasted after 3 C/10 V overcharge and released black smoke. The maximal temperature of battery surface reached 290 ℃ after blast. The smoke was made up of CO2, CO, H2, CH4, C2H6, C2H4 and carbon powers. The carbon, MnO, and Li2CO3 were observed in the exploded powders.关键词
